This is a Call to any Businesses in Scotland Looking for Evacuation Chairs or Rescue-sheets
Article date: 15/04/2015
UK law states that all business premises, whether or not they are open to members of the public, must have facilities in place to enable the safe evacuation of anyone who suffers from restricted mobility, in the event of an emergency such as a fire, earthquake, terrorist activity or chemical leak.
Evacusafe UK is a company that specialises in the development and manufacture of specialist evacuation equipment for disabled, injured, heavily pregnant or otherwise mobility impaired people.
There is some good news for any Scottish businesses that are looking to meet their legal obligations and purchase the correct equipment in order to do so, as Evacusafe will be exhibiting their range of Evacuation Chairs and Rescue-sheets at the SECC in Glasgow next week. The Health & Safety Scotland show takes place on 22nd and 23rd April 2015 and is open to everyone wanting to find out more about health and safety issues and the services that are available. Evacusafe can be found at Stand #232.
Although Evacusafe is already very well established in Scotland, this is the first time the Company will be exhibiting its products at a trade show north of the border. They already have a large customer base in the region and have visited many times to provide training courses for the use of their equipment. Last year Evacusafe was selected as the official provider of Evacuation Chairs for the 2014 Ryder Cup, which took place in Perthshire.
Furthermore, the Company is aiming to unveil a brand new Evacuslider Rescue-sheet at the show which has been specifically designed to assist any mobility impaired people who have a larger build.
David Della-Savina, Sales & Marketing Manager for Evacusafe, said “I am personally very excited about our presence at the show. As it’s our first time exhibiting in Scotland, it will be an excellent opportunity to meet with local professionals and discuss any subtle differences between Scottish and English legislation with regards the mobility impaired”.
The Health & Safety Scotland show is essentially a gathering of Scotland’s leading health and safety professionals and is a great place to network with the experts and to draw on their knowledge. The Evacusafe team will be available for full hands-on product demonstrations and to answer any pertinent questions you may have in relation to health and safety, evacuation solutions, legal obligations and any issues that affect people with limited mobility.
Full details of the Evacusafe range of products, including a selection of demonstration videos, can be viewed online at www.evacusafe.com/store.
