Crown Commercial Service Select Evacusafe as Official Evacuation Chair Training Provider
Article date: 29/07/2014
Evacusafe are delighted to announce they have secured a three year contract for the provision of evacuation chair training for the Crown Commercial Service (CCS). This is the direct result of the recent invitation by the CCS’s Procurement Team for businesses to tender for the supply of the specialist training.
The Crown Commercial Service was created by the UK Government’s Cabinet Office as a professional procurement service, to be directly responsible for improving government commercial and procurement activity, whilst delivering enhanced value for money to the public sector.
What does this mean for Evacusafe?
This means a great deal to Evacusafe since they have, over the last couple of years, invested a lot of time, effort and money to ensure the training courses they provide are of the highest possible standard; a fact that has been proven by the recognition and accreditation of two of the UK’s leading professional health & safety bodies.
Paul Mitchell, Director of Evacusafe, said “This is fantastic news for Evacusafe and we have no doubt that our recent professional accreditation for our training courses, from both RoSPA and the IIRSM, has played a big part in our successful bid, which now sees Evacusafe providing our specialist training services as part of the UK Government’s infrastructure. Some other top players also placed bids for this contract and Evacusafe being chosen makes me very proud indeed”.
The contract will see Evacusafe providing evacuation chair training courses to the CCS for the next three years.
